When you go to New York be ready for the cold days and the warm days. The temperature is cold most of the time. In winter and fall it is between 21˚F and 60˚F. In spring and summer it is between 37˚F and 79˚F.This is what you need to know in order to pack for New York. In winter and fall you should pack warm long sleeves and sweaters. In spring and summer you should pack clothes long sleeves and a couple short sleeves shirts. When in New York you need some warm clothes. You should know what time of the year it is and be ready for the weather.
When you go to New York you’ll be surprised about a lot of state symbols. You’ll hear about people and places. There are many state symbols. Sugar maple tree is the state tree, the animal is the beaver. The state fossil that represents New York is a sea scorpion. There are other cool facts about New York too. One fact is after the Brooklyn Bridge was finished elephants cross the bridge just to prove that it was safe. There are a lot of famous people associated with New York. George Washington was inaugurated in New York! Annie Taylor a 36 year- old was the first person to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel. Now know why New York is so fascinating.
There are so many different things to do in New York but you may run out of time! You can find different things to do in different places. One place is Western Niagara Falls .You can ride on a boat near the falls. Another is place to visit is the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island. There a lot of things in Manhattan for a day of fun. First, you can go to Broadway plays like the Lion King. Second, you can go to the Empire State Building and go up to the observation deck. Lastly, you can go to Radio City Music Hall. New York is full of fun things.
Now you can go to New York and have something to do every day. Enjoy shopping for unbelievable things and beautiful things that you can use or keep in a safe place to keep forever.
